1. Acceptance of These Terms
Welcome to SayBuff. The Service is independently developed and operated by SayBuff ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
2. What We Provide
The Service is a resume and interview preparation tool: AI mock interviews help you put your experience into words, which is then turned into a stronger resume, along with an ATS compatibility scan and resume export.
- What we deliver is software functionality and generated content. We do not provide teaching, training, or recruitment-agency services.
- We make no promise about hiring outcomes. Whether you are invited to interview or hired is decided solely by the employer.
- We may add, change, or retire features. If a change affects benefits you have already paid for, we will give notice and handle it under Section 4.
3. Accounts and Eligibility
Using the Service requires an account, though some features can be tried as a guest.
- You must be at least 18 years old. The Service is not directed to minors, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
- You can sign up with a Google account or with an email address and password.
- Please keep your credentials safe. Everything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- Data created in guest mode has its own retention period and usage limits, described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Credits, Payments, Refunds, and Disputes
The Service operates on a credit system: credits acquired through registration bonuses, promotional activities, or paid top-ups are used to access platform AI features.
- Credit tiers, pricing, and included allowances are subject to the real-time display at checkout and on our pricing page. Online payments and checkout transactions are processed by our authorized Merchant of Record (MoR) partner (Waffo Pancake) for compliant checkout, tax calculation, and invoicing; bank statements will reflect the authorized payment partner or its designated descriptor.
- Credits are digital virtual goods. Given the bespoke and immediate delivery nature of digital content and generative AI services, services are deemed fully consumed once execution or generation has commenced; top-ups are non-refundable once completed except as required by mandatory law or mutually agreed upon through friendly consultation. Operational, platform, and service delivery resource costs are strictly non-refundable.
- Where a refund is agreed upon, the platform reserves full priority to reclaim all promotional credits and benefits: the system will first claw back all granted bonus credits (including registration gift packs and promotional campaign bonuses) and immediately revoke all referral credit boost coupons generated by the refunded order; any remaining refund amount will proportionally reverse purchased credits.
- Credits are strictly for personal use by the registered account and cannot be transferred, resold, or redeemed for cash.
- Cardholders with billing inquiries must first contact customer support for resolution. If an unauthorized chargeback is filed directly with the issuing bank, the platform reserves the right to immediately suspend the account and freeze associated assets; the platform retains full legal recourse for unpaid deficits from delivered services and will submit network access logs and usage evidence to financial institutions for dispute defense.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- upload or process a resume that is not yours, or otherwise handle another person's information without authorization;
- fabricate experience or forge credentials in order to mislead an employer;
- reverse engineer, scrape, bulk-register, circumvent usage limits, or attack the Service;
- break the law, or upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content;
- resell, sublicense, or offer the Service as your own product without our written permission.
- use AI generation capabilities to produce any prohibited content, strictly including: (a) sexually explicit or NSFW material, (b) violence or gore, (c) hate speech or harassment, (d) child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or endangerment, (e) unauthorized deepfakes or impersonation, and (f) intellectual property or trademark infringement;
- violate any applicable acceptable use policies. Violations will result in content removal, credit deduction, or account termination. To report violations or misuse, contact us at [email protected]; our safety team conducts reviews within 24 to 48 hours.
6. Your Content and Intellectual Property
Ownership of what you put in and what comes out:
- Resume content you upload or enter remains yours; we process it only to provide the Service.
- Resumes and reports generated from your content are yours to use, download, and share freely.
- The software, interface, template designs, and trademarks of the Service belong to us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them.
- To improve the product, we may compile aggregated, de-identified usage statistics. We do not publish your personal content.
7. AI Features
AI features run on industry-leading, enterprise-grade third-party foundation models (including OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, and Flux image diffusion series) integrated centrally; you do not need to bring your own API key.
- AI output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Please verify it before you send anything out.
- AI output is not career, legal, or immigration advice, and is not a promise of any hiring outcome.
- Do not enter sensitive information you would rather not have processed, such as ID numbers, bank details, or health information.
- To deliver a feature, the necessary content is sent to the model provider. See Section 4 of the Privacy Policy for the scope.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that generated content will satisfy any particular employer's requirements.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability for the Service is capped at the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
- Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Changes, Suspension, and Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your data at any time. We may change or discontinue all or part of the Service with reasonable notice.
- If we decide to shut the Service down permanently, we will announce it in-app at least 30 days in advance.
- If you materially breach these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your account immediately.
- After an account ends, we handle your data according to the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give notice of material changes by in-app announcement or email before they take effect. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the operator's principal place of business, and the courts of that jurisdiction have jurisdiction.
- This section does not limit any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.
